Gayle Cohen is a professional teacher of voice, acting, and public speaking with over 35 years of experience. She works with twice-exceptional students - kids 8 and up, adults, and seniors. Gayle loves to inspire self-confidence through the arts and customizes the lessons to meet the specific artistic needs of each individual student.
Private Voice Lessons:
Release your fear and build your confidence while learning the instrument of voice! Gayle assists students on their musical journey whether they are a professional or simply singing for the joy of it!

Learn to be a confident speaker! Whether you are a corporate professional, giving a school presentation or working online, Gayle will teach how to translate your subject matter and express your "self" to your target audience.
Lessons include Vocal and Breathing Technique, Emotion Work, Proper Use of Vocal Range, Diction, Body Language, Content, Subject Interpretation, and Presentation.

Gayle grew up in New Jersey and started studying voice and drama at age eleven. By age 16, she was a professional Musical Actress performing in New York. Gayle currently resides in Saint Petersburg, FL.
While living in Chicago, she studied improvisation under the tutelage of Jim Belushi at the famed Second City. She also became a crisis intervention counselor working with runaways and at risk kids and the Suicide prevention hotline.
Once back in New Jersey, she joined a group called "The Mental Health Players" where she was able to combine all aspects of her training. This began her love for using music and acting for not only entertainment purposes , but also healing, both physically and emotionally .
For the past 35 years, Gayle has acted as both performer and director in Musical Theater, Improvisational Theater and Children's Theater. She is a private teacher of Voice and Acting and is a Corporate Trainer and teacher in the areas of Public Speaking and Presentation.
In addition,Gayle tours the country with her original autobiographical seminar "The Healing Power Of Music".
