The Davidson Institute is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting profoundly gifted young people, their families and educators. Our mission is to recognize, nurture and support profoundly intelligent youth and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference. We recognize profoundly gifted students as those who score in the 99.9th percentile on IQ and achievement tests.
The Davidson Institute provides support through a variety of programs and services. The Young Scholars Program offers individualized support through free consulting services with access to an interactive, private online community. Davidson Summer Programs host residential camps at the University of Nevada, Reno which provide social connections and personal growth opportunities through academically engaging experiences. The Davidson Institute also awards students with the Fellows Scholarships in the amount of $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 for extraordinary achievements. The Davidson website provides free online resources and a large gifted database. The Davidson Academy offers full and part-time options for middle and high school students.
