Nature Matters Academy provides advanced STEM courses for 2e kids and programs for their families.

We know that the traditional one-size-fits-all education doesn’t work for your kids. It doesn’t work for ours either.

We believe that all kids deserve an education appropriate to their abilities. We do that by providing courses where we walk alongside gifted kids as we co-create amazing learning experiences.

We are scientists who specialize in STEM (STEAM) education, outdoors.

Even though many of our courses and programs are online, we use that time to teach kids, then send them outdoors to practice what they’ve learned in the real world.

The beautiful thing about using nature as a STEM (STEAM) teacher is that it can challenge our kids far beyond your typical lab experiment or math worksheet. They get to learn in a dynamic environment that engages them in every way. Their minds are challenged by an ever-adapting world. Their bodies are engaged through all senses. And their minds are calmed. Nature is the perfect learning environment for 2e kids!

We are offering online camps this summer for gifted kids!

Our camp sizes are small – only 4 students! And we focus on co-creating amazing experiences with your kids so that they are engaged and motivated to take their learning to a deeper level.

We meet for 1 hour a week online for 4 weeks. Each week we’ll have topic (chosen by 1 of the 4 students) and then we’ll guide students as they design mini-projects to study that topic. They will get to use their gifts and skills to study something new!
