ADHD 2e women and moms deserve support, too! Join a vibrant, growing community of ADHD women 40+ (no worries: 30-somethings also welcome!) for private or small group coaching, ADHD women's retreats, programs for decluttering and organizing and semi-annual ADHD Paloozas for women and parents. The ADDiva Network was founded in 2004 by Linda Roggli, a professional certified coach, and author of "Confessions of an ADDiva--midlife in the non-linear lane" which won first prize for women's issues in the Next Generation Indie book awards. "I finally understand my ADHD and can work with it instead of fighting against it." "This program is the best support group out there for ADHD women!" ** I help others improve communication, cognition and learning with tech-savvy strategies, solutions and support**
Everyone has a unique set of strengths and weaknesses when it comes to literacy, learning, thinking and communicating. I’m here to help you figure out how to leverage the benefits of technology to overcome barriers in these areas! By matching your needs or the needs of someone you know to features and strategies that can support strengths, I can help you thrive in school, at home, in the community and at work.
Through my practice, Innovative Speech Therapy, I offer state-of-the-art local and long-distance therapy, coaching and training programs. My mission is to help you and those you care about become more tech-savvy and confident that you are aware of the many resources that can be used to reach your goals, reduce stress, and promote happiness!
Over the past 30+ years as a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, tech-entrepreneur and mother of 4 children of my own, I’ve developed a system that works to help individuals of all ages and abilities who have attention, communication, literacy and learning challenges.
I am always looking for ways to use affordable technologies that will help others get more out of life. So many of us are focused on just getting through the day, it is often difficult to take a step back to figure out if there is a different approach that may dramatically change everyday tasks and routines to make them more efficient and effective.
It’s hard to learn more about new technologies and strategies that may be a perfect solution when you don’t even know what to look for! That’s my job. I do my best to stay well informed of the latest accessibility features and tech tools. Together we will explore how to implement technology to achieve your goals.
Feel free to set up a free mini phone consult so that I can help you figure out your next steps. I also offer online courses and enjoy creating customized presentations.

I am an independent scholar, author, and professional development expert in diversity & equity in gifted education. I have worked as a practitioner, administrator, & researcher for over 30 yrs in gifted education. I work with schools (public & private); organizations; and other advocates to empower educators with strategies to increase access and equity in their gifted and advanced learner programs to ensure that gifted African American, Latinx, low income students are appropriately identified and served. I also provide private consultation services to parents.
I teach parents how to stop the battles and help their child succeed and thrive. I’ve helped thousands of parents raising kids with ADHD and/or autism improve their lives. I can help you, too.
The research is clear: parent training not only improves symptoms and behavior, it also reduces parent stress and increases parent confidence. Your parenting is the key ingredient to happy kids and families.
I'm an atypical-parenting-obsessed momma on a mission, honored to help families on this always chaotic, often stressful, anything-but-ordinary parenting journey. Through my podcast, award-winning books, online parent training programs, parent coaching, and mom retreats, I have helped thousands of families survive and thrive in the face of ADHD and autism.
I would love to help your family too!

With Understanding Comes Calm, LLC provides comprehensive consultation, education and advocacy training for PARENTS of twice exceptional (gifted with learning differences) children, EDUCATORS, CLINICIANS and 2e adults. Julie Skolnick, Founder, utilizes a unique process for parents to gain a deeper understanding of their twice exceptional children's strengths and struggles. She guides parents in learning about their own parenting patterns and family dynamics and teaches strategies to shift from REACTING to RESPONDING to their children. Julie serves as "quarterback" for parents to learn how to increase happiness and calm in the home, how to more effectively communicate and collaborate with school, extended family and others to bring out the best and raise self-confidence in their 2e children. For EDUCATORS, Julie provides training on what it means to be twice exceptional and best practices in the classroom for engagement, addressing underachievement and challenging behaviors, and creating connections. Julie mentors TWICE EXCEPTIONAL ADULTS, helping them understand lifelong challenges and helping them identify strengths and passions in order to find fulfillment personally and professionally. CLINICIANS look to Julie to help them understand complex client profiles and assist in communication with parents.
